If your current AHA card recently expired, you can still attend this course, just choose the expired option. You will be charged $45 extra for the Initial course, since you are expired.Please be advised, The American Heart Association has included a Mandatory Online Pre-Course to be completed prior to attending the New 2015 ACLS courses.This information is available in the 2015 ACLS Manual. If you don’t have the new manual available prior to the course, we have provided a link to the Pre-Course, below.You must print the score sheet and bring it to class. ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.
ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.
Initial Provider Course requires approximately 8-10 hours to complete, including skills practice and skills testing & written test.If you also need a BLS certification (original or renewal), add it on below. You complete the BLS classroom portion Online with American Heart Association, then we do the skills at the end of class with us
