Welcome Northwell Health Residents & Fellows.

GoACLS offers BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Once your sure which courses you need, just register through the Website or follow the links below. Be sure to use Northwell as registration type, this will get you the hospital discount.

  1. BLS Provider Course

  • There is only one BLS course. Whether you need an update or are expired, it's the same course.  

  • We offer two ways to take the BLS Provider course, 100% classroom or Heartcode BLS (90% online & 10% classroom).

  • Follow the links for a better explanation of each method.  Both are the same course.

  1. ACLS for Healthcare Providers Initial Course

    • The ACLS Provider Initial course is for anyone who has never taken the ACLS course or who has completed an ACLS course but has an expired ACLS certification.
  2. ACLS for Healthcare Providers Update/Renewal Course

    • In order to take part in the ACLS Update course you must hold a valid/not expired AHA ACLS Card.  All cards expire on the last day of the month.  If your card specifies a day (ie. 03/05/2017). then your card still expires at the end of the month (ie. 03/31/2017).

 We offer ACLS 6 days a week.  Classes are scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

 

  1. Please be advised, The American Heart Association has included a Mandatory Online Pre-Course to be completed prior to attending the New 2015 ACLS courses.

    This information is available in the 2015 ACLS Manual.  If you don't have the new manual available prior to the course, we have provided a link to the Pre-Course, below.

    You must print the score sheet and bring it to class.  A score of 70% or higher is required prior to participating in the ACLS course.

  2. PALS for Healthcare Providers Initial Course

    • The PALS Provider Initial course is for anyone who has never taken the ACLS course or who has completed an PALS course but has an expired PALS certification.

Please do not use your hospital email when registering.  We will email you 3 months prior to your expiration, to remind you to Update.  If we don't have an email you will still have for at least 5 years, you may not get these important notices.
